CLASS INFORMATION

Classes are held Wednesday evenings at The Worker’s Club – 66 Elizabeth St, Launceston (except for our bi-monthly free beginners’ class and social night at Gunner’s Arms. See “Upcoming Events” below for the next date).

6.30pm – Intermediate – Level Two

Developing ideas, moves and technique on from level one material, this is a place to stretch your dance mind and body and really strut your stuff. (Feel free to come and watch if you’re a newbie, you’ll pick things up too)

7.30pm – Beginners – Level One

Designed to get you moving and on the dance floor, we’ll cover some achievable moves and footwork that will have you looking and feeling like a real jitterbug out there!

Classes rotate between 6 beat, Lindy Hop (8 beat) and Charleston.

No experience or partner required, no need to register, just turn up wearing comfortable shoes and clothes you can move in!

8.30pm Swing Social – with snacks!

Launceston’s awesome swing DJs will get the floor pulsing, grab a drink and lots of dances! Great space to practice moves and process class material too, the best learning is out on the social floor.

Full night of dancing for only $12 (or buy a block of 4 for $40).

Note: Classes will take a break from Wed 11th Dec and return on Wed 8th of Jan with a free taster class and social night.
